Properties:

lDOWELLTAN SM82 is a special kind of styrene maleic anhydride based anionic copolymer retanning agent.

lDOWELLTAN SM82 can bring excellent fullness, tightness and good resistance to abrasion. It has good dispersion effect on oil and dyestuff thus enhance brightness and color fastness. It is suitable for retanning white leathers from wet blues and also for vegetable leathers.

lExcellent light resistance and heat resistance.

Application: 

lDOWELLTAN SM82 has a good solubility in water and can dilute with water at any proportions. It has a good resistance to acid and excellent compatibility with Anionic products such as retanning agents & fatliquoring agent.

lDOWELLTAN SM82 is suitable for all kinds of leathers. It has an ability to retan and fill up loose areas of the leather to improve grain tightness. It can be used in neutralization, retanning and before or after, fatliquoring process. It is commended to use this product at a pH not lower than pH=4.5, When it is used after neutralization, good filling effect can be achieved. If used before re-chroming more spongy effect can be achieved.

lSuggested dosage：2%-4% DOWELLTAN SM82 on shaved weight.

Storage:

1 year storage in sealed original package at 5-35℃. Avoid long-time exposure in the sunlight or freezing environment. Drums should be tightly resealed each time after material is taken from them, and their contents should be used up as soon as possible after they have been opened. Non-dangerous chemical.
