Properties:

lDOWELLTAN HN01 is the copolymer of chrome and phenolsulfonic acid,with good light and heat resistance.

lDOWELLTAN HN01 levels the surface of wet blue, which results not only in uniformity of absorption of other retanning materials but also improvement of the reproducibility of batch to batch consistency. This is particularly important if wet blue from different sources which are mixed in one lot.

lLeathers retanned with DOWELLTAN HN01 create sites for binding both fatliquors and dyes, resulting in considerably improved softness, brilliant dyeing and shade intensity.

lDOWELLTAN HN01 also can be used as a pre-tanning agent attribute to its good stability to electrolytes and low astringency. The leathers are noted for a particularly fine grain, pleasant soft handle and outstanding dyeability.

lGood light resistance.

Application:

lIn general, 2-4% DOWELLTAN HN01 (calculated on the shaved weight) is applied in retanning process and matches with 2-4% chrome.1-2 % DOWELLTAN HN01 (calculated on the pelt weight) is applied after the pickling bath for pre-tanning.

Storage:

1 year storage in sealed original package at 5-35℃. Avoid long-time exposure in the sunlight or freezing environment. When temperature decreases there may be crystallization & precipitation occurs. Warming up to 40-45℃ to re-dissolve and use when temperature is cooled down to normal level. Non-dangerous chemical.
