Properties:

lDOWELLTAN RL52-L liq. is the copolymer of phenolsulfonic acid and aromatic hydroxyl sulphone,imparts a uniform filling effect with a soft, round handle.

lDOWELLTAN RL52-L liq. is a preferred syntan for tanning and retanning mineral -free leathers attributed to its particularly marked tanning effect; It increases the shrinking temperature considerably and it is therefore very suitable for tanning/retanning chrome-free leathers. 

lLeathers tanned/retanned with DOWELLTAN RL52-L liq. tend to have an even milled grain pattern which is particularly suitable for natural mill type upholstery leather to achieve a uniform mill grain pattern.

lDOWELLTAN RL52-L liq. is recommended for manufacturing of fur skins (especially white) with higher shrinkage temperature.

Application:

lIn general, 20%-25 % DOWELLTAN RL52-L liq. (calculated on the shaved weight) is applied in several steps for the retanning of chrome-free leather. It is an ideal product for chrome-free car upholstery leathers.

l4%-6% DOWELLTAN RL52-L liq.( calculated on the shaved weight) is applied in the retanning stage together with other retanning agent.

Storage:

1 year storage in sealed original package at 5-35℃. Drums should be tightly resealed each time after material is taken from them, and their contents should be used up as soon as possible after they have been opened. Direct contact with this product may irritate skin and mucous membrane,rinse with running water if contacted with skin. Non-dangerous chemical.
